The last three ladies have obviously not read a lot of the replies here--Mr. Borgnines OPINION,if thats what you label it, is important because he did not see a film that was voted on by members of ampas for awards and Mr. Borgnine is a member of ampas. Thats why its different. And his opinion about Brokeback Mountain is really ignorant at worst and baseless at best because: HE HASNT SEEN IT. I invite him to do so at the Gene Autry Center for Western Heritage on December 11th for the 5th Anniversary screening. Only after hes seen it will I consider changing my mind about his homophobic comments.

Ive watched this movie at least 3 times and cry every time. I cannot believe that any mother would condemn their child because of who they are. I just dont understand how they miss the unconditional love you are supposed to have for your children. Im a mother of 4 and would love my children whether they were gay or straight or bi or whatever. How could any mother turn their backs on their children. I was glad to see that Bobbys mother finally got it in the end. I just hate that it was too late to save Bobby from his own personal hell and eventual suicide.

I think based on voice and album quality, Charice Pempengco deserves a Grammy in 2011. No smoke and mirrors, just pure talent. Bruno Mars is another one who deserves one in 2012 too.

I think F*** You has a much better chance than you guys think. It is by Cee-Lo Green, who is pretty respected in the recording industry.

I really hope the Golden Globes and SAG awards honor Lost this year. After the Emmys completely snubbed it, it deserves a huge amount of recognition.

my top five honorees for the 2011 cecil b demille lifetime achievement awards are: jerry lewis,michael caine,jeff bridges,francis ford coppola or george lucas.it will properly go to:mike nichols,tom hanks,rober de niro,meryl streep or morgan freeman.this is how these hollywood honoray or lifetime awards work,sometimes the wrong person gets it look at the afi award for lifetime achievement.

Jackis performance deserves on Oscar! Shes had a very long ! award-winning career on-stage. These experiences and her hard-working down-to-earth determination have led to this amazing performance. Little did many people know that she could play such a malevolent loving and evil woman. Hope she gets it - often it seems that people have to be nominated so many times that it then become their turn so I do hope the academy recognise that Jackis no-newcomer!
