'Bobby' or 'Queen' may reign at Venice fest

"Bobby" and "The Queen" are among the favorites to nab the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival when the best pic prize will be bestowed tomorrow by a jury headed by actress Catherine Deneuve, according to Agence France-Presse.

"But close behind in the popularity stakes is 'Coeurs,' the latest film from veteran French director Alain Resnais, who won the Golden Lion here in 1961 and a lifetime achievement award in 1985," reports the agency. To read more — CLICK HERE!

The previous two Golden Lion recipients proved to be serious Oscar contenders: "Brokeback Mountain" in 2005 and "Vera Drake" in 2004.
