Louisiana still thinks Sean's hot
Maybe Sean Penn blew smoke at the journos in Toronto to get revenge for their nasty reception to his new pic "All the King's Men. "Overstuffed and fatally miscast," said Variety. Hollywood Reporter dismissed it as "kitsch."
Nonetheless, Louisiana's governor is still proud of the pic, even if it is about the assassination of a predecessor. A spokesman for Kathleen Babineaux Blanco reminds The Envelope that "'All the King's Men' is the first major Louisiana-shot or Louisiana-based release since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Crews filmed the re-make of this classic Louisiana fiction in South Louisiana before the storms and returned to the state for pick-up shots after the storms passed."
