Sasha Stone of Oscarwatch.com . dishes the difficulty "Pan's Labyrinth" has getting the attention of academy members, being a late-December release. "With all of the screenings and parties and voting, how can any Academy voter keep straight all that needs to be seen and done?" she asks in the set-up to her interview with the film's writer/director Guillermo Del Toro.

Good piece. Especially interesting — her exploration of the film's dual realities: "As a visual piece, 'Pan's' parallels two opposing worlds — the fantasy realm in Ofelia’s world and the oppressive environment in the home of the fascist captain."
