The Envelope's odds on who'll win the film awards

"Babel" gets just slightly better odds (even) over "The Departed" (6/5) in the race for best drama picture at the Golden Globes, according to the odds drafted by David Scott of Americasline.com based upon the views of our pundits here at The Envelope. See the full list — CLICK HERE.

In the race for best comedy/musical picture, "Dreamgirls" is ahead with 7/5 odds. Other top races: Forest Whitaker ("Last King of Scotland") leads the best-actor contest with 3/2. Best drama actress: Helen Mirren ("The Queen") gets 1/4. Best comedy/musical actor: Sacha Baron Cohen ("Borat") gets 2/5. Best comedy/musical actress: Meryl Streep ("Devil Wears Prada") gets 1/5.
