Uh-oh! Which episodes should Emmy nominees submit?

March 15, 2007 | 12:11 pm

To win an Emmy, a nominee must adopt shrewd strategy. It all comes down to choosing the best episode samples to submit to the judging panels comprised of one's peers (actors evaluate actors, writers judge writers). One of the episodes must be the same one submitted to the pre-nomination panels, but now contenders must choose an additional one, too. What to do? Well, those savvy daytime TV watchers and Emmy gurus who post in our forums have drafted lists of the episodes they think would do the Emmy trick. Our poster 742 started a thread with his own personal breakdown, which is comprehensive, perhaps too much so. He lists 27 episodes of "As the World Turns" as showing off best actress nominee Maura West's best work, but only two for Jeanne Cooper ("Young and the Restless"). See what else he suggests — CLICK HERE — plus the responses of our other posters.
