Emmy Alert: Watch 'Queens,' 'Chris' & '24' tonight
This evening "The King of Queens" (CBS) signs off after nine seasons with a two-parter, "China Syndrome." Apparently, it's a doozie. It's also being entered into the Emmy races for lead actor (Kevin James), actress (Leah Remini) and Jerry Stiller (supporting actor).
It has a good chance of nabbing some top noms considering how size matter as the Emmys. In the past, double-length doses of laughter have meant Emmy gold for Jennifer Aniston ("Friends"), Eric McCormack ("Will & Grace"), Helen Hunt ("Mad About You"), and Michael J. Fox ("Family Ties"), among many others.
Three-time guest actor nominee James Cromwell returns to "24" (Fox) on Monday as Jack Bauer's (Emmy-winner Kiefer Sutherland) ne'er-do-well dad.
Five-time Emmy winner Kelsey Grammer moves behind the camera to direct the second season finale of "Everybody Hates Chris" (CW) on Monday. While the television academy is not as enamored of actors-turned-directors as the Oscars, Grammer, who made Emmy history by being nominated for the same role, Frasier Crane, on three separate programs ("Cheers," "Wings," and "Frasier"), could well be recognized by voters in the helmer's category.
Also today: Three-time Emmy winner Gena Rowlands plays a terminally ill woman in "What if God Were the Sun?" (Lifetime). Rowlands has an outside shot of being nominated for lead actress in a movie/mini, but it's a crowded race.

15 year old Vincent Martella, is up for consideration for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. On Everybody Hates Chris, Vincent plays Greg, Chris's best and only friend. You'll hear Vincent's voice as Phineas as the lead in the new animation Disney's Phineas and Ferb. Check him out.
