Emmy Alerts: What to watch tonight (Tuesday)
Tonight "Gilmore Girls" (CW, 8 p.m.) signs off after seven seasons. We don't know yet what episode producers plan to submit to Emmy judges, so it's possible that the finale is it. There's also some debate over whether it's really switching from the comedy races where it's competed in the past, to the drama lineup. Lauren Graham has submitted in drama. Costar Alexis Bledel submitted for comedy. We presume that the mess is being worked out now behind the scenes by TV academy officials.
Emmy voters may hail guest turns on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" tonight (NBC, 9 p.m. ET/PT) by never-nominated Roy Scheider as a serial killer and Rita Moreno as a killer of a mother.
Last year, Michael J. Fox was nominated for his guest spot on "Boston Legal" (ABC 10 p.m.); this year, his "Family Ties" TV dad, Michael Gross, guests as a different kind of father – a priest with a crisis of conscience.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WILL THEY NOMINATE LAUREN GRAHAM. She was so amazing tonight as was the episode. I'll forgive them for never nominating SMG if they have the friggn' brains to do so.
