Maura Tierney is an extraordinary actress, gorgeous, just amazing all around!
she deserves an EMMY!!!
i think they are blind!!!

where is Maura tierney? She really made an amazing job this season, I can't believe she isn't there.

I can't believe that MAURA TIERNEY or the beginning of this ER season aren't nominated (she deserve it by far more than Jonh Stamos)... They're are definitely the best ones out there... It's like everybody has forgotten about ER and how talented the actors/actresses are...

Forest Whitaker deserves this nomination.
Bloodline/Graduation day and Murmurs of the heart should really be there.

It is ridiculous Stamos to compete to best supporting drama actor, he has been one of the worst actors of this season, without expression or feeling....... Who chose him for the award was drunk....
to the opposite, WHITAKER is an excellent actor, he deserves to win, and some good actors were out of the competition.

OMG!!!!
it's totally unfair!
where is Maura Tierney,Jorja Fox,Matthew perry????
god,Stamos apeared in 2 or 3 scenes on murmurs of the heart and he is nomenate.
ok,I'll play 2 minutes and I'll win the oscar!!!
I completelly desagree with this!

Bradley Whitford and Matthew Perry deserve to be nominated, they showed good acting on Studio 60!

uh, and where is jason dohring??? he's definitely as good an actor as kristen bell, if not better.

Where is Jorja Fox? Give me a break.

There is NO excuse if Lauren Graham does not win. She knows Lorelai inside and out, and has consistently, throughout SEVEN YEARS of Gilmore Girls, done an incredible job of portraying her. This season has been exceptional for her. She deserves this Emmy more than anybody else up there, not only because Gilmore Girls has now ended, but because she is an AMAZING actress and she's entitled to the recognition that she's earned from the role.

It would have been nice to see Melina Kanakaredes from "CSI:NY" on the list. Her character had had one dramatic, tumultuous season at the hands of the scatterbrained writing staff, but Melina carried every scene incredibly. I guess that's the price you pay for being an actor on a shoved-aside spin off.

Where's Jorja Fox? She brought it on this year. She had a phenomenal year and are her fans the ONLY ones to recognize that? This has has by FAR been the best year she's ever had. Grey's Anatomy? You get an award for sleeping with the doctor and having two lines? You have an actress that could act the hell out of anything that's put in front of her, and she's NOT nominated AGAIN? Not fair in the least. Especially since Empty Eyes was probably THE best episode of the season(Besides "Living Doll")

And William Petersen should get an Emmy for "Living Doll" if anything. Stellar performance. Even if he gets an award for just his facial expressions

Marg? Not going there...

And I hope Marishka wins. :)

Definately not watching the Emmy's this year.

It would be nice if someone listed ALL the shows and actors who have submitted for considertion, it's much longer than this list. It's too bad that the Emmy's are such a popularity contest, if an actor or actress isn't either on a premium cable show (like The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, Deadwood, Dexter, The Tudors) or a top 20 show (like House, 24,etc) the actor or actress is out of luck. It's too bad because the public THINKS the emmys are really about who's the best but it's becoming more and more obvious. It's also obvious that certain types of drama shows (and the actors and actresses in them) are are at a disadvantage, especially when you consider that their are nearly twice as many shows in the drama category as in any other category.

i am really mad, every year is the same thing, the popular shows get nominated, and the shows that also deserve the nomination and the actors that deserve the nomination dont get it, what about supernatural, and jensen ackles, jared padalecki and jeffrey dean morgan?
at least i know what to expect, the popular shows like GREY'S ANATOMY, CSI, HEROES, THE OFFICE, LOST, 24 AND FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS will get nominated just because of the popularity.
just for one year, i would like to be surprised with the noms, and i would like to root for my show that really deserves the noms: supernatural.

Where's Jake Weber? Did they see his work on Medium this season? The writers gave him a lot of material this season and he really delivered. His work was intense and in the tape he submitted, "The One Behind the Wheel," you felt emotion coming from him. When he cried on Patricia Arquette’s shoulder in the end, wow. I cried for him. His wife was possessed and he dearly missed her. If anyone deserves this award, it is him. Jake Weber for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series!!!

William Petersen may not have been in all of this season's episodes, but he was in the majority of them and really put in some of his best performances since the first two seasons. I'm quite pleased to see he made the list. Great episode choice for him. It's just a shame CSI was only seen in two categories. They are really having a wonderful year (much better than last season)!

Why has Jorja Fox not been nominated AGAIN?! She's been phenomenal this season (as well as the last, and the one before that...) She was especially brilliant in Empty Eyes. Come on!!

I can't belive Maura Tierney (ER) is not nominated

After last nights GREY'S ANATOMY, Sandra Oh should reconsider her submission, the "missing eyebrow " scene was comedic genius and her final scene tearing off the necklace and wedding gown was dramatic acting at its finest.. cudo's the rest of the cast, but Sandra takes the Emmy on this one!

I' m sorry but this list is so flawed, as much as i like Emilie de Ravin from Lost, you could probably count on one hand the number of lines she has said for an entire season. It also seems to miss out on the true reason of the Emmy's which is to recognise great acting, not give kudos to mediocre actors from top rated shows, where is Maura Tierney, Goran Visnjic, Marg Helenberger, Sally Field etc. Also they seem to nominate the same people from each show every year, Why is Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh there doubtless they have had a good season, I just think that Katherine Heigl and Kate Walsh have done better.
I think it's about time each performance be scrutinised and judged on, not the performance of the show in ratings and popularity, essentially the Emmy's have become a nod to those programmes that arepopular not necessarily those which strive to make compelling and solidly acted telivision.

Lauren Graham needs to be nominated. She is an amazing actress. She really deserves it!!!! I hope she will get an Emmy award I want to see her to have a take home with Emmy awards at home what ever she put it it will be nice for her have one.. I' m rooting for Lauren Graham..
Good Luck!!!!

I am pulling for Michael Chiklis and Walton Goggins for "The Shield". Amazing perfromances on an amazing show; although, I don't think Chiklis submitted the best episode for a nomination, hopefully it will win him the nom. Lead Actor will be tough this year. Too many great performances for only 5 actors.

This sucks...
Why isn't Maura Tierney or Goran Visnjic or ER nominated (besides from John Stamos who SHOULDN'T be) ... They're are definitely the best ones out there... It's like everybody has forgotten about ER and how talented the actors/actresses are...

Ellen Pompeo submitted her best work. Good for her! She truly was fantastic in that episode and hope she gets a final nod (even though her character annoys me 75% of the time...). Glad to see Lauren Graham and Kristen Bell up there as well.

I'm really hoping William Petersen will get the nomination. He was outstanding this season (and every other season too). Billy for president! ;-)

Where is jorja fox ? She deserve that nomination. and honestly - why is marg on the list ? She has no outstanding work in this year. This prove again - emmy have nothing to do with the actors work - its politics and cbs seems to see only mh. never the other cast memebers. what a shame

I think that all of the actors on CSI have done an amazing job this year, but I am disappointed not to see Jorja Fox, Paul Guilfoyle and Geroge Eads. And Wallace Langham rocked as Hodges this year. All of these actors are wonderful and I wish would also get the credit they deserve.
