VH1 to air next 3 Critics' Choice Awardcasts

May 22, 2007 |  5:54 pm

Vh1

Looks like the Critics Choice Awards have finally found a solid TV partner. In recent years the awardcast appeared orphaned for a while as it moved back to E! when things didn't work out on the WB. Exex had to settle on a taped, edited version of the show that would air days later.

Now the Broadcast Film Critics Association has signed a three-year deal with VH1 to telecast the awards show live. Smart move for both sides!

Their first partnership airs live on January 7 from the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. I'll be there!
