Bob Barker comes on down to the Daytime Emmys

June 15, 2007 |  6:04 pm

Bob Barker signed off for the last time after 35 years of hosting "The Price is Right" and, with the magic of editing, seemed to go straight from CBS Television City to the Kodak Theater to kick off the Daytime Emmy telecast. The 18-time Emmy winner was surrounded by his current crop of Barker beauties as he welcomed the daytime crowd to prime-time. A few minutes later, he won his 19th Emmy for his final season of hosting the game show which itself was honored at last night's Creative Arts awards.

He saluted the 11 people on the staff of the show and thanked the TV viewers across the country who invited him into their homes for half a century. Of course, in closing, he reminded us all to have our pets spayed and neutered!
