Transcript: Our chat session with 'Heroes' star Jack Coleman
Discussing his "Heroes" character with us during a live chat session on Tuesday, Jack Coleman said, "I think we've seen Bennett go from highly suspicious to understandably protective of (his daughter) Claire and caught in the middle of the company's goals." He discussed why he chose "Company Man" as his episode submission to Emmy judges: "It tells the backstory of Mr. Bennett and takes us back to the present with Claire." Below is the transcript of our chat. Many thanks to our forums moderator Robert Licuria for editing it.
Boomer: Hello, Jack!!
iskolar: Hello jack!!!! :)
Jack Coleman: hey boomer, hey everyone
FunkyDanishChick: Hi Jack.
AggieShan: Hey Jack
Tom O'Neil: hey jack!
Tom O'Neil: Jack -- tell us about the Emmy episode you chose to submit
BC: Welcome, Jack!
Jack Coleman: glad to be here. i've been told you guys are highly knowledgable
Bug: Hey there, Jack.
Boomer: Company Man was one of the best of the season.
Tom O'Neil: why did you pick it?
Jack Coleman: thanks. i'm very proud of the episode
Tom O'Neil: tell us what happens, story-wise, in the episode
Jack Coleman: it's the obvious choice ffor me beccause it focuuese so intensely on my story
Jack Coleman: forgive my typing
iskolar: Aside from Company Man, did you have choices on what to submit to the Emmy panel?
iskolar: other choices I mean
Jack Coleman: there was no other choice for me, personally
Boomer: It is the perfect choice and might get you your first Emmy nomination.
Tom O'Neil: and it portrays your character sympathetically
Tom O'Neil: Jack shoulda been nommed for Dynasty
FunkyDanishChick: It was one of the best episodes of the season in my opinion. Showed some great insight to your character
iskolar: Heroes was one of the most successful new shows this season. How does it feel?
Tom O'Neil: But Dynasty waz robbed at the Emmys all around
FishBiscuit: Hey Jack, you'll always be Steven Carrington to me; glad to see you on "Heroes"
Jack Coleman: company man tells the back story of mr bennnett and takes us back to the present with claire
Jack Coleman: dynasty wuz robbed. You’re right!
Bug: It was a very interesting episode. Shed a lot of light on the character of Bennet.
Tom O'Neil: Did you have any misgivings about portraying the role of Mr. Bennett? He's not the nicest guy
caf: how do you feel about bennett's ambiguity? he's still not a total 'good guy', is he?
Boomer: When you took the part, did you know that your character would be both a good guy and bad guy?
Robert Licuria: And it seems that it has also been submitted as a writing and/or directing episode - the producers putting faith in this episode to get Heroes some Emmy nods. Good choice Jack.
Tom O'Neil: Wow -- I didn't realize that!
Jack Coleman: i think we've seen bennett go from highly suspicious to understandably protective of claire and caught in the middle of the company's goals.
Tom O'Neil: what's the episode title again?
iskolar: Company Man
Jack Coleman: company man
Boomer: Most of your scenes were with Hayden. How was she to work with?
Robert Licuria: The arc that was given to you over the season was a gift really - and you really ran with it, becoming a fan favorite character
iskolar: I love Hayden. Hehe.
Jack Coleman: i know almost nothing about heroes: origins other than the episodes will be mainly stand alone episodes. more anthology.
The_TV_Maniac: Do You Know Anything About the new season and the "spin-off" Heroes: Origins"
Robert Licuria: It's Hayden's episode submission too.
iskolar: Which? Company Man?
The_TV_Maniac: sorry I didn't mean to re-type
Jack Coleman: hayden is a nightmare!!
Robert Licuria: Yep
Jack Coleman: kidding.
The_TV_Maniac: LOL
Robert Licuria: hehehehe
ijustdontseeit: lol
Bug: Haha
Ingw: hehe
iskolar: Haha. LOL.
Jack Coleman: she's one of the best actors i've worked with, 17 or no.
BC: Hayden's cute, Jack.
Tom O'Neil: i just KNEW she waz a bitch
The_TV_Maniac: So IS The Show Now Gonna Be Set in New York Permanently
BC: I hope she gets a nomination.
iskolar: Tom, are you kidding too?
Jack Coleman: she's fantastic to work with, completely committed.
Bug: Were you as confused as fans when Peter didn't just fly himself up, up, and away in the finale?
Tom O'Neil: you'll nevah know
Jack Coleman: ah... peter
Jack Coleman: peter couldn't just fly away as he was going nuclear.
Nadine: What differences have you found between working on daytime drama, through to primetime soap and now primetime sci-fi series?
Jack Coleman: he said to nathan "i can't do anything."
BC: What soap were you on, Jack?
The_TV_Maniac: Were You Confused about the last three minutes of the show, I Sort of Was
The_TV_Maniac: Is it now gonna be set in mideviel times
Robert Licuria: What was the feeling on set when Heroes premiered to big numbers and then started to take off - it must have been a great feeling.
Bug: Oh, I must have missed that line. Heroes episodes can be overwhelming. In a fascinating way.
Jack Coleman: numbers - great to have a highly rated show, obviously, and even greater to see how devoted the fans are
iskolar: I know that its yet too early but did you start shooting for the second season of Heroes?
Jack Coleman: we start shooting one week from today!!
Robert Licuria: A question I always love asking - what other TV series this past season did you love most?
iskolar: Good Luck!
Jack Coleman: i love dexter, the office, extras, and, of course, the sopranos
Robert Licuria: Great taste in TV...
Tom O'Neil: even the sopranos finale?
iskolar: The Office!!! Yey!
Robert Licuria: Yes, what's your take on the finale Jack?
FishBiscuit: A fan of "Dexter" awesome!!!
Jack Coleman: haven't seen it yet.
Jack Coleman: heard all about it.
Robert Licuria: Oh, OK - no spoilers people!
Tom O'Neil: i luvved it and hated it all at once
Boomer: Jack - You always seem to play characters that are both good guys & bad guys. Do you ever want to have a character that is completely good or completely evil?
Jack Coleman: writers seem to like it everyone else seems to hate it.
Robert Licuria: Really? Is that what you are being told Jack?
Jack Coleman: characters: i like dual motivations and conflict in a character
Jack Coleman: more interesting than square-jawed heroism.
Turtle: About how long does it take to shoot one episode? With so many moving parts, it must be headache-inducing at times for you actors to keep track. Do you have any tricks?
Jack Coleman: this show takes anywhere from 10-14 days to shoot
Jack Coleman: very long by series standards
iskolar: Jack, Did you expect all this Heroes success?
Robert Licuria: Jack, have you been given any indication by publicists, agents, etc... that you are a real contender for an Emmy nod?
Bug: Do you have any idea where the character of Bennet will go next season?
Robert Licuria: Because, you are... Top 10 is a definite real possibility at this stage.
Jack Coleman: i've been told i have a chance at an emmy nom.
Tom O'Neil: meaning that the show -- and/or you -- can make the top 10 Emmy runoff
Jack Coleman: very long shot, i think
Boomer: Have you been to the Emmys before? Are you an Emmy voter?
Robert Licuria: That's great - I really hope you get it. Nope, not a long shot at all.
Tom O'Neil: once you're in the runoff, then your work speaks for itself and you've got a socko episode
Turtle: Yikes...10-14 days?! No wonder you're starting s2 so early! Thanks.
Jack Coleman: not an emmy voter (damn!)
Boomer: You do have an excellent chance. Probably the best chance of anybody on your show.
iskolar: Yes, I expect you to be a shoo-in at the Top 10
Jack Coleman: thanks tom. i hope the work will speak for itself
Robert Licuria: Definitely agree. Masi Oka has a shot, but in terms of episode submission, Jack is way in front.
Tom O'Neil: When Boomer speaks = Emmy God Talking
Jack Coleman: good good good!
Turtle: Yes, Boomer KNOWS...
Jack Coleman: speak boomer speak
iskolar: Haha.
Tom O'Neil: Boomer, just before we started this chat I told Jack on the phone what a Emmy superstar guru you are
Tom O'Neil: told him to pay special attention to the guy who got Cynthia Nixon her Emmy
Jack Coleman: what's your prognotication, then, boomer?
Tom O'Neil: yeah, let's put Boomer on the spot
Jack Coleman: that's prognostication
Boomer: Jack - I just watched the entire Heroes series over the past two weeks (due to the Sci-Fi marathon). It really seems like you are having a blast on this show.
Tom O'Neil: put down the bourbon, Boomer
Jack Coleman: totally having a blast
Jack Coleman: most fun (legally) in years
AggieShan: Were you intimidated at all when you first read the script? With it being so complex and whatnot?
iskolar: Wow
Tom O'Neil: thanks gawd for that Sci-fi channel marathon -- finally had a chance to catch up with the show -- whew
Jack Coleman: not intimidated, excited
Boomer: I do think you will make the Top 10 for Supporting Actor. From there, the episodes will speak for themselves and you have a very, very good shot at picking out a tux for Emmy night (and buying new clothes & jewelry for your wife).
Jack Coleman: big dvd coming out in august
Tom O'Neil: DVD too late to affect Emmy voting
FishBiscuit: Hello netflix!!!
Bug: Very excited about the DVDs
iskolar: How does it feel like working with an ensmeble like Heroes?
Boomer: Are you and the cast doing DVD commentaries?
iskolar: ensemble, I mean
FunkyDanishChick: Do you know of any dvd extras?
Jack Coleman: great ensemble
Jack Coleman: we really enjoy each other
Jack Coleman: i did several commentaries
Jack Coleman: not sure of extras
iskolar: Do you go out with some of the cast members after shooting?
Boomer: You're the only regular cast member without any super powers. Do you hope your character will develop one and if so, which one?
Jack Coleman: we get together all the time
Tom O'Neil: great question
Jack Coleman: i don't need no stinkin superpower
Tom O'Neil: great answer
Aura: lol
Tom O'Neil: tho i don't believe it for a sec
Jack Coleman: i've got the power of creepiness
Boomer: Just keep hold of those glasses!
Tom O'Neil: you're not as creepy as Donald Trump
iskolar: I love that answer. hehe. When you were a child, did you ever wish to have superpowers?
Bug: Bennet could have X-Ray vision with the glasses. That would be cool. And creepy.
FishBiscuit: you got the power of "good acting" also
Jack Coleman: as long as the glasses live, i live
Boomer: Or make some money and auction them on E-Bay.
Turtle: Your power is in your glasses, like whatisname on "CSI: Miami"
FunkyDanishChick: Haha. He's got exray vision with the glasses.
Jack Coleman: the glasses only have the power to inflict headaches on the wearer
Tom O'Neil: haaaaaaaaaa
Bug: Well then, that's unforunate.
Robert Licuria: You gotta suffer for fashion
Tom O'Neil: and for your ART
Jack Coleman: better to look fabulous then to feel fabulous
Tom O'Neil: and Nielsens
iskolar: Aw! That hurts. haha
Jack Coleman: i will suffer gladly for ratings
Bug: Bennet with contacts just wouldn't be the same.
Turtle: Hey, glasses are a genre staple. Ask Lois Lane about their powers of obfuscation. That's your power, I guess!
iskolar: Heroes have good ratings I think.
Jack Coleman: newsflash... bennett does wear contacts!
Tom O'Neil: OK, Jack, here's The Inevitable Dynasty Gay Question: Did you ever think you'd live to see the day when other day roles are so common?
Jack Coleman: do you mean gay roles?
Robert Licuria: Did I miss something about HRG?
Jack Coleman: the power of obfuscation is good
Robert Licuria: HRG and Matt Parkman in a very special episode?
Jack Coleman: or the power of plausible deniablity
Bug: Aw, Matt.
Jack Coleman: the hrg word, perhaps?
Turtle: For s2, you've gotta have Bennett hold Peter down and snip those f&^ing bangs.
ijustdontseeit: yeah, please! those are.. distracting
Jack Coleman: i don't know if those bangs will be with us too much longer
Bug: I bet Milo would be more than willing to allow that to happen.
Robert Licuria: hrg - now that's funny! LOL
FishBiscuit: Jack; did you work on any other projects while on break from "Heroes?"
Turtle: Hot scoop!
Tom O'Neil: yeah, gay roles. so common, so commonly acceptance - not so risque as Steven
Jack Coleman: I didn't work on anything else. there was an offer i didn't take
Robert Licuria: So you kicked back for a while and relaxed?
Jack Coleman: kind of kicked back. there was a lot going on
Robert Licuria: Good for you!
FishBiscuit: He answered my question; I might "wet" myself
iskolar: LOL Fishbiscuit. Hehe.
Jack Coleman: steady on fella
Tom O'Neil: tx for sharing that, fishb
FishBiscuit: for a big nerd like that's a big deal
Jack Coleman: back to the gay roles
ijustdontseeit: lol
Bug: Jack, is there anything specific you'd like to see your character do or persue next season?
Robert Licuria: Jack, who do you wish would come on the show as a guest this upcoming season?
Jack Coleman: i somehow became a spokesman for gay roles on tv years ago
Tom O'Neil: yeah, the evolution of gay roles from yours to the typical ones on today
BTN: i saw the entire run of Dynasty twice on Soapnet sad when you left at the end of the 9th season
Tom O'Neil: what did you think about that at the time?
BTN: 8th season
Jack Coleman: not sure how, but i'm glad to see all manner of reality reflected
Tom O'Neil: And now, looking back?
Jack Coleman: guests: i'd love to see chris eccleston return
Robert Licuria: That would be great.
Jack Coleman: much unfinished business between him and hrg
Boomer: Jack - I was really impressed with Ashley Crow's performance as your wife. What was she like to work with?
Jack Coleman: ashley is brilliant!
Jack Coleman: straight up
Boomer: She will be back next season??
Jack Coleman: what she did with her role is nothing short of amazing
Turtle: Jack, about how far along in s1 were you guys when the good ratings news came in? Without getting TOO gossipy, I'm wondering if anything changed on the set after you became the savior of NBC (with a nod to Howie Mandel).
Jack Coleman: in company man especially
Robert Licuria: And how you completely outshone timeslot neighbor Studio 60
Turtle: Must have been exciting to know that you had a big ol' audience.
Jack Coleman: when we became a hit i adopted a "don't look me in the eye" policy with the crew
Bug: RIP Studio 60
Turtle: LOL
BTN: has anything on the Lost vs. heroes debate been discussed
iskolar: Haha
FunkyDanishChick: haha
iskolar: BTN, not yet I think
Jack Coleman: lost is an iconic show without which there would be no heroes, imo
Tom O'Neil: nicely said
BTN: that's some statment! wow
Robert Licuria: Agreed, but Heroes really started to overtake Lost in buzz.
Turtle: Good point.
iskolar: Do you have a favorite character on Lost?
Jack Coleman: heroes did overtake some other shows in buzz but we're in a very fickle biz. i take nothing for granted
Robert Licuria: True - the business seems to be very fickle. You just have to enjoy it while it lasts, and hope it lasts a long time.
Boomer: What about your timeslot competitor "24"? Were you happy to see that show have such a weak season (in quality) so they didn't take away your viewers?
Turtle: Are you a genre fan? (Comics, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.)
BTN: kind of like when dynasty overtook dallas LOL
Jack Coleman: again, with 24, they're in their 6th season. i only hope our rattings start to fade in year 6.
Jack Coleman: that's ratings
Jack Coleman: rattings are very different
Robert Licuria: hehehe
BC: Ratings suck.
FunkyDanishChick: hee.
Tom O'Neil: rattings suck worse
BC: People, myself included, actually believe them.
Aura: They could, or at least should, have a better system by then.
iskolar: After Heroes (which still would be a long time I think), would you still be likely to accept roles in sci-fi projects or are you afraid to be stereotyped in that genre?
Jack Coleman: especially if you're the one being ratted
Robert Licuria: Heroes' ratings really surprised a lot of people. Not common for a genre show to do so well right off the bat.
Jets57: do you like the idea of having a planned end date like Lost?
Jack Coleman: i'll be open to anything
BTN: seems as if heroes is extremely popular with the 18-49 and thats where it counts. i think heroes is 11
Jack Coleman: yeah, nice demos for heros
The_TV_Maniac: DO U Have Plans to Do A Movie or Something while on Hiatus
Jack Coleman: 18-34 even stronger
ijustdontseeit: do you usually watch the episodes as they air?
FishBiscuit: I'd like "Heroes" to go to a 24 like format; run jan-may; I'd be more apt to watch
Jack Coleman: hiatus is over but i have written a feature that i hope to do next hiatus
BTN: yeah 34, I think i might have gone to high
The_TV_Maniac: your already back on set.
iskolar: Wow! Why do you think you're particularly strong at ages from 18-34?
Jack Coleman: i think we will ultimately go to a 24 style schedule
BTN: that would be best for all serialized shows
BTN: procedurals and comedies can do sept to may
FishBiscuit: I'm there when the show does
Jack Coleman: string demos: graphic comic plus cool effects and strong characters
Jack Coleman: strong demos
Jack Coleman: come back tv maniac!!
Tom O'Neil: uh-oh - now a maniac is truly on the loooose
Jack Coleman: am i outlasting you all?
Tom O'Neil: you never answered the gay question
Jack Coleman: no, i'm not
Tom O'Neil: how did you feel about doing that role then?
Jack Coleman: was that the question?
Tom O'Neil: yeah
iskolar: Haha. Which role on primetime (aside from yours) do you want to portray?
Tom O'Neil: did it freak you out?
FunkyDanishChick: Have you learned anything about the 2nd season yet?
Jack Coleman: i had no qualms about doing that role
Boomer: With work starting soon, have you already seen the first script or two? Are you happy with the direction of the new season?
Jack Coleman: i have the 1st script in my hot little hands
Jack Coleman: isabelle, don't go!
Boomer: Read it for us.
Jack Coleman: in the beginning...
Aura: she's afraid of your hot hands
Bug: Anything scoopilious you could spill?
Jack Coleman: that's how it begins
AggieShan: haha
FishBiscuit: Jack; do you have any guilty pleasure viewing?
Jack Coleman: guilty pleasure viewing too much sports
Aura: which ones?
Jack Coleman: esp, college hoops
Jack Coleman: ballerina, you must have seeen her
Tom O'Neil: who's your fave college team?
BC: Favorite team?
Aura: dancin' in the sand
Jack Coleman: DUKE!
Tom O'Neil: i went to Notre Dame. That was the correct answer
Jack Coleman: or in the auditorium
BC: Mine is anyone playing Ohio State.
Bug: Oh, major points for you Jack. I love Duke.
Jack Coleman: from michigan?
BC: Columbus- home of the Buckeyes
Jack Coleman: i went to duke so i have no choice
iskolar: LOL. Jack, any plans of doing movies?
Jack Coleman: played jv basketball
Bug: I used to be a big Wojo fan back in the day. Poor, little guy.
BTN: would you do any more steven king material?
Jack Coleman: back to show biz!! this is supposed to be serious
Robert Licuria: Left-field question - Jack have you been to Australia and if not, why?
Jack Coleman: i love steven king
Tom O'Neil: is showbiz serious?
Jack Coleman: nicest guy
Aura: I am serious and don't call me Shirley
Jack Coleman: i have been to australia- twice!
Robert Licuria: Cool. Thanks for that.
Turtle: Yes, when we're talking awards! It's deadly serious.
Turtle: And ratings.
Boomer: What have been some of your favorite movies of the past few months?
ijustdontseeit: since we're back to serious stuff: what about paris hilton in jail, huh? who would've thought!
Tom O'Neil: Rob does get up to the U.S. sometimes, tho -- up from Aussieland
Jack Coleman: i'm behind in movies - 8 year old daughterr
Robert Licuria: Jack - favorite actor you haven't met yet?
Jack Coleman: i love robert duval
Boomer: Does your daughter get to watch Heroes? What does she think of it?
Jack Coleman: doing anything
FishBiscuit: So u loved Shrek 3
Robert Licuria: excellent. Did you see Broken Trail?
Bug: Do you have any rituals you go through before shooting a scene/episode?
iskolar: Jack, how do you feel towards tv stars being movie stars at the same time?
Jack Coleman: my daughter actually does watch heroes - now. not at first
Nadine: If you could have someone guest-star on Heroes, who would you like it to be?
BTN: can she watch scenes with Sylar??
Jack Coleman: only ritual - lifting my face off the floor and fastening it back
Kait: Is Claire your daughter's favorite character? Or does HRG trump Claire in her mind because he's you.
Robert Licuria: Jack, how did you land the role in Heroes? Arduous, painful auditions?
Jack Coleman: my daughter loves claire
Jack Coleman: and hayden
Bug: Do we know the fate of Sylar yet?
Tom O'Neil: sylar creeps me out
Jack Coleman: my audition for heroes was ridiculously easy
Jack Coleman: one audition with one page of dialogue on my birthday
BC: Has your daughter met Hayden, Jack?
iskolar: When's your birthday btw?
Bug: Mr. Quinto does an excellent job of making Sylar creepy.
Boomer: When you took the part, it was just as a guest star. Did the producers and you always plan to move towards the main cast later on?
Jack Coleman: it was only a guest spot so there was no pressure
Robert Licuria: You must have impressed them!
Robert Licuria: You became a fan fave - I remember in the beginning hearing all these things about this mysterious "HRG"
BTN: was HRG originally a guest?
Robert Licuria: Yep
Jack Coleman: i don't think it was planned for more but tim made this guy claire's dad so the conflict was too ripe not to pluack.
Jack Coleman: or something
Jack Coleman: pluck
Tom O'Neil: no cussin'
BTN: now HRG is essential to heroes
Jack Coleman: zach quinto - fantastic!!
Tom O'Neil: if you're nommed for an emmy, will you rehearse an acceptance speech ahead of time or just wing it?
Jack Coleman: wonderful actor, niverr guy
iskolar: Jack, how does it feel that Heroes was nominated at the Globes even before you completely finished your first season?
Robert Licuria: The Globes nod would have been so much fun...
Jets57: Are the overall plot directions usually so variable? I would think a show like Heroes has to be planned out
Jack Coleman: if nominated for an emmy i will have a speech prepared... by hugh laurie
Robert Licuria: Yes!!!!!
Jack Coleman: because his speeches are so good
Bug: Yes! Hugh Laurie is amazing.
Tom O'Neil: good strategy
BTN: ha ha he made the best speech
iskolar: Haha. Hugh Laurie!!!
Robert Licuria: Or Steve Carell
Bug: And brilliant.
Tom O'Neil: or carell, yeah
Jack Coleman: or steve carell, true
Tom O'Neil: those guys are evil comic geniuses
BC: Hugh Laurie being Emmyless is a crime.
Robert Licuria: Yes, it is a crime
iskolar: Hugh and Steve. Both won at the Globes last year, right?
Jack Coleman: that will be rectified, i believe
Tom O'Neil: yes
iskolar: Yes! Hugh should have had an Emmy by now.
Jack Coleman: hugh will win
Tom O'Neil: Hugh wasn't even nommed!
iskolar: Do you watch House?
BC: In three days, soap star Maura West will get her long overdue Emmy, and in September, Hugh and Steve Carell will get theirs.
Jack Coleman: i watch sometimes
Boomer: Ganolfini, Laurie or Michael C. Hall? Who would you vote for?
BC: Laurie
iskolar: If you're a voter of course
Jack Coleman: but watching him limp around just makes me want to take vicodin so i had to stop
Kait: Are the days filming Heroes terribly long, or not as bad because you have such a large cast?
Jack Coleman: michael c hall - unbelievable
Bug: Hugh Laurie should guest on Heroes as a doctor who tries to clear people of their special powers. He'd love it.
iskolar: I know
Bug: House would that is.
BTN: how about james spader-boston legal
Robert Licuria: Jack, what's it like dealing with obsessive internet fans and spoilers on set? Are you guys under tight security to not talk to anyone?
Jack Coleman: hugh should guest on heroes
iskolar: Boomer, how bout you?
Jack Coleman: he's friends with grunberg (who isn't?)
Bug: Yes, they are in their band together.
iskolar: Jack, do you sing? ü
Jack Coleman: heroes takes along time because we're all over the place
Jack Coleman: so many locations
Jack Coleman: and characters and effects
Robert Licuria: How long are the days on set Jack?
Tom O'Neil: its so confusing a TV show I still haven't figured it all out yet
Jack Coleman: and then ther'e milo's hair which has its own trailer
BTN: lol
FunkyDanishChick: hahaha
Bug: ha
Tom O'Neil: stolen from Sanjaya
Aura: it has an attitude does it?
Boomer: Other than "Company Man", did you have another favorite episode this year?
iskolar: Do you have free time on the set? What do you do?
Jack Coleman: no, really?
iskolar: Haha about Milo's hair.
Jack Coleman: i thought that was original
Tom O'Neil: kiddin'
Jack Coleman: other fave is 5 years gone (string theory)
Robert Licuria: Excellent episode
Jack Coleman: so well shot and written
Jack Coleman: loved milo in the future
MA: Jack, any upcoming film projects?
iskolar: Was it also submitted fro writing/directing Robert?
iskolar: for*
Boomer: If you have some time, give us the scoop/gossip on some of your co-stars?
Jack Coleman: i have my own screenplay which i'm trying to get financing for
Boomer: Start with Ali Larter...
BC: Ali's hot.
BTN: what did you think of jericho being cancelled and then renewed because of fan response
Jack Coleman: ali later is from bagaladesh. little known fact
Tom O'Neil: feel free to pass the hat around here, Jack
Tom O'Neil: they can throw in a few quid
Jack Coleman: bangaladesh
Robert Licuria: Nope, only the pilot, "Company Man" and "Homecoming" were submitted by producers
iskolar: wow. Thanks!
Boomer: How about Greg Grunberg?
Jack Coleman: i love that fan response revived jericho
Jack Coleman: how about greg?
Jack Coleman: is there a question there?
Bug: He seems like an all around nice guy.
Aura: that was cool but now they insist on more ratings
Jack Coleman: greg is a great guy. but a pathological liar
Boomer: Gossip/scoop about Greg?
Robert Licuria: hehehe
Jack Coleman: again, kidding
Bug: ha
iskolar: If you would be given a chance to present at the Emmys, who would you choose to be your co-presenter?
Jack Coleman: my copresenter would be... oprah. just because
Boomer: I'm just working my way through the cast... gossip/scoop on Masi Oka?
Robert Licuria: I heard that the miss universe pageant winner may be cast as Hiro's love interest on the show. Weird.
Tom O'Neil: give us the DIRT, pls
iskolar: interesting choice
Jack Coleman: masi is swedish. speaks only nordic languages
Bug: Haha.
BC: I thought Masi was Japanese.
Jack Coleman: don't believe that 180 IQ stuff... dumb as a doornail
Robert Licuria: And James Kyson Lee is Papua New Guinean
Jack Coleman: once again... kidding
Kait: I bet that Mr.Muggles was a tough start to work with. Heh
BTN: his cover of time or newsweek ever on the set?
Jack Coleman: now you're getting it
iskolar: Robert, yeah it's really weird.
Tom O'Neil: and i hear she's s bee-tch
Jack Coleman: mr muggles is such a diva!!
Aura: Okay who in the cast wears lifts? a rug?
Boomer: Gossip/scoop on Adrian Pasdar?
Kait: I miss Mr. Muggles and Sandra and Lyle
Tom O'Neil: who's the biggest drunk in the cast?
iskolar: Hayden? haha. j/k
Jack Coleman: adrian is actually married to faith hill. they keep it quiet
Bug: Ooh, scandal.
BTN: haha
Aura: oh that's country
FishBiscuit: that's a big one
Tom O'Neil: uh-oh, don't tell tim
BC: Don't be hatin' on my girl, iskolar.
Jack Coleman: sandra and lyle and mugggles will return... i think
Bug: Poor Natalie.
Boomer: Does Adrian play Dixie Chicks music 24 hours a day?
Robert Licuria: Isn't Mr Muggles married to Faith Hill as well? WHAT'S GOING ON!!!
Tom O'Neil: That Faith is a tramp
Kait: Yay, I'll be happy to see them return. Claire's family drama has always been my favorite
iskolar: BC, I love Hayden. Hehe. Even at Bring It On movie. I watched it so many times.
Jack Coleman: faith hill, if you pay close attenttion often refers to herslef as mrs muggles
Robert Licuria: Hayden is great in that role
Jack Coleman: hayden is wonderful ass claire
BC: She's so cute and adorable.
Jack Coleman: back to being serious
Robert Licuria: great freudian slip
Aura: oops lol
Jack Coleman: AS CLAIRE
iskolar: Yes. I watch it because of her. Anyways, jack, why did you choose Oprah again?
BTN: any more DVD news on Heroes
BTN: commentaries
BC: I was being serious, Hayden is---
BC: nevermind.
Kait: Do you get to spend a lot of time with Hayden, because you two have really nice father/daughter chemistry together
Tom O'Neil: OK, let's get serious, then: Who's the biggest floozy in the cast?
Jack Coleman: i am serious. hayden is fantastic
BC: Floozy?
Jack Coleman: biggest floozy... ME!
Tom O'Neil: oh, that's right!
Robert Licuria: She is. She surprised everybody with her talent in this role, which seems like it was written for her
Jack Coleman: i think she was the only one they wanted for the role
