'30 Rock' shock

September 16, 2007 |  8:07 pm

Wow! I actually got one right tonight! Tina Fey accepted the Emmy for best comedy series, thanking "the dozens and dozens of viewers." This win continues the tradition of throwing an Emmy lifeline to ratings-challenged shows like "Arrested Development" and "Cheers."

Cheers was ratings challenged?

It's too bad that the show is ratings challenged, I really love it. Alec Baldwin is great. So glad they won, it seemed to surprise some people in the audience.

well, that's not as big a shock as Ricky Gervais beating Carell and Baldwin for Actor Comedy Series... looks like the only actor/actress to go with the odds was America Ferrara for Ugly Betty... the other three leads and a couple supporting went against the odds.
