Justin Timberlake's and Andy Samberg's controversial "D*ck in a Box" schtick from "Saturday Night Live" won the Emmy Award for best song at the creative arts ceremony, which bestows prizes in 75 categories — mostly in the crafts and tech areas — a week before the more glitzy awards will be handed out on Fox Network.

"Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" won the most (five), followed by "Planet Earth" (four). "American Idol" finally won its first-ever prize, but there's some question about its legitimacy (CLICK HERE).

Two TV critics' faves were honored: rookie "Friday Night Lights" (casting) and long-running "Battlestar Gallactica" finally won its first Emmy, too (special visual effects).

Other curious vote results: there were three winners in the category for best choreography. The only nominee not honored: "Dancing with the Stars"!

Elaine Stritch pulled off an upset in the guest acting categories for portraying Alec Baldwin's obnoxious mom on "30 Rock." Also unexpected was Leslie Caron's win for "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit." At age 74, she rarely performs acting gigs anymore, but took on this controversial role as a French victim of past sexual molestation.
