What about Sonya Walger for "Tell Me You Love Me"? Her role is much more showy than Ally Walker's role.

If this list is intended just for lead actresses, Christina Hendricks shouldn't be on it. I don't see any way that she would compete as a lead actress. "Mad Men's" lead actress contenders are Elisabeth Moss and January Jones, and either of them could reasonably compete in supporting as well.

Of the options, I voted for Glenn Close. I like Ally Walker a little better, but "Tell Me You Love Me" is too controversial and too low-rated to stand much of a chance. Close is on a hit show, she's a movie star, and she's already been Emmy-anointed.

Why isn't Jane Alexander on this List?

What about January Jones in Mad Men? She's been fabulous.
