Recognizing individuals whose work in the theater is not eligible in any of the regular categories, the Tony Awards bestow special recognition on a handful of people each year. This year's honorees, to be feted at an October 30 luncheon at Tavern on the Green, are: Gemze De Lappe who replicates the choreography of Agnes de Mille, wardrobe supervisor Alyce Gilbert, scenic constructor Neil Mazzella, and musical coordinator Seymour Press.
