There are noteworthy entries in the nominations list issued by the London Film Critics Circle: Casey Affleck appears in the lead actor race, not supporting, for "Jesse James" (nommed for best picture) and those uppity journos even pay rare but proper credit to a slick commercial thriller "The Bourne Ultimatum" and a critically hailed small pic released earlier this year, "Zodiac."
But it looks like I have no choice but to dispatch my demon barber from Fleet Street over to lair of those misguided London journos for be so ruthless and blind to "Sweeney Todd." Only Helena Bonham Carter makes the cut. READ MORE.

This is quite possibly my favorite set of nominations of the season. Why you ask?
Imelda Staunton, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!
THANK GOD!
