Johnny Depp: Inevitable Oscar winner?

Considering the awards history of men who have portrayed Sweeney Todd, on Broadway and in the TV version filmed by Showtime in the 1980s, Johnny Depp is sure lookin' good at the upcoming Oscars.

Oh, wait. Not Michael Ceveris, the most recent person to play the role. Seems like trying to show a pattern and stopping it 25 years ago without including the most recent occurence is a little problematic possibly purposely misleading. The shameless plugging on this site for Sweeny Todd is getting very old.

What award was Best Actor? I couldn't find a record of him winning...
