Here's who I think will prevail when members of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association vote for their awards on Lacrix_2 Sunday. Disagree? Click on the "Comments" link below and give us your predix. Over at AwardsDaily.com, Sasha Stone is recruiting predix from lots of us gurus — CLICK HERE

Sweeney Todd? LOL!!!!!!

Best Actess to Julie christie for Away from her

Best Picture: No Country for Old Men
Best Actor: George Clooney
Best Actress: Julie Christie
Best Sup. Actor: Javier Bardem
Best Sup Actress: Cate Blanchett
Best Director: Sarah Polley
Best Screenplay: No Country for Old Men

Well it looks like critics like "No Country for Old Men", so the voting will probably follow the NBR's picks to some degree:

My predix:

Best pic: "No Country for Old Men"
Best Director: This could be a tossup between three directors: Tim Burton, Julian Schnabel, and the Coen Brothers. I predict that Schnabel will win for "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly".
Best Original Screenplay: It's almost a given that Diablo Cody will win for "Juno".
Best Actress: Critics could give Marion Cotillard a break and award her on this one, but I don't think so. I predict that Julie Christie will score another win for "Away From Her".
Best Actor: This is a tough call. Johnny Depp is tremendously popular in Hollywood, so there could be chance he could win for "Sweeney Todd". However, George Clooney's win with the NBR says a lot, so I predict that Clooney will win for "Michael Clayton"
Best Supporting Actor: Voters may feel that Tommy Lee Jones got a raw deal this year. I predict that he will win over Javier Bardem in "No Country for Old Men".
Best Supporting Actress: This is the toughest category yet. Will voters feel sympathy for Cate Blanchett? Will they add to Amy Ryan's NBR win? Or will they decide to give Ruby Dee an award for the largely shut out "American Gangster"? I predict that there will be a tie in this category, with Ryan and Dee sharing this award.

Best Picture: I'm Not There
Best Actor: Viggo Mortensen (NGNG!)
Best Actress: Laura Linney
Best Supporting Actor: Hal Holbrook
Best Supporting Actress: Amy Ryan
Best Director: Todd Haynes
Best Screenplay: No Country For Old Men
Best Documentary: In the Shadow of the Moon
