Will SAG decree a boycott of other kudocasts?

December 20, 2007 | 11:31 am

I'm now more confused than ever over whether or not the Screen Actors Guild will officially ask members to boycott telecasts of the Golden Globes, Oscars and other kudocasts. The SAG simulcast with TNT and TBS will go on as planned since it was granted a waiver by WGA, but when I asked SAG president Alan Rosenberg this morning if SAG will issue a policy on other telecasts, he said, "Oh, no! I'm not inclined to make a recommendation. That's a very personal decision people will have to make." Then, as soon as our camera shut off, he flipflopped and said, "I don't know at this point if we'll have an official policy. For now I'm trying to pool everybody's opinions on the matter."
