Female critics name "Away from Her" and "Talk to Me" best pix

If you wonder what film critics would consider to be the best picture of a year without the influence of testosterone that often blinds the male-dominated journo groups — which have been heaping laurels upon "There Will Be Blood" and "No Country for Old Men" — consider the vote results of the Women's Film Critics Circle, which cited "Little Miss Sunshine" in 2006, "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio" in 2005 and "Vera Drake" in 2004.

This year the gals came up with two winners after a tie vote: "Away from Her" and "Talk to Me." Best actor: Daniel Day-Lewis ("There Will Be Blood"). Best actress: Laura Linney ("The Savages"). "Away From Me" is the best movie I've seen this year. Too bad more people didn't see it.

Any group that called "The Prizewinner of Defiance, Ohio" the best film of the year immediately loses all credibility.

I just clicked on the Women's Film Critics site and they have no information of who is in the group and their website seems quite old. Couldn't even find the info on these new awards. Is this group legit?
