Costume guild nominees: 'Atonement,' 'La Vie en Rose'

Nominees for the Costume Designers Guild Awards have been announced by the Costume Designers Guild. Winners will be undraped at the ceremony held at the Beverly Wilshire, hosted by Anjelica Huston, on Feb. 19.

Notable snubs: "Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," "Charlie Wilson's War," "The Great Debaters," "Hairspray," "Love in the Time of Cholera," "Michael Clayton," "No Country for Old Men," "There Will Be Blood."

NOMINEES — Best contemporary films: "Blades of Glory" (Julie Weiss), "Diving Bell and the Butterfly" (Olivier Beriot), "Into the Wild" (Mary Claire Hannan), "Juno" (Monique Prudhomme), "Ocean's Thirteen" (Louise Frogley).



Best period films: "Atonement" (Jacqueline Durran), "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" (Alexandra Byrne), "La Vie en Rose" (Marit Allen - posthumous), "Sweeney Todd" (Colleen Atwood), "3:10 to Yuma" (Arianne Phillips).

Best fantasy films: "Enchanted" (Mona May), "The Golden Compass" (Ruth Myers), "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" (Jany Temime), "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End" (Penny Rose), "300" (Michael Wilkinson).
