Hmmm. It looks like the Writers Guild of America may have accidentally revealed its award winners
when announcing its nominees. Below, check out our screen shot of what is currently at the guild's website (and CLICK HERE to see the original page, if still posted).
Notice that there's no apparent order to the lists — they're not arranged alphabetical by author's last name or film title.
Instead, the films that most pundits believe are frontrunners — "Juno" and "No Country for Old Men" — are perched on top, suggesting that this order may reflect the ranking of how many votes they got. Rumor has it has last year the guild inadvertently spilled beans this same way, but rearranged the lists alphabetically as soon as the goof was pointed out.
Uh, there are no winners yet. The vote hasn't yet taken place.
These are just the nominees.
The WGA members choose a winner from among those nominees.

Yay for Zodiac.
This film did a last minute push for awards when it ended up on over 140 top 10 lists, the third largest number this year.
While I expect No Country to Win, I am so glad this wonderful film and its screenplay was remembered with a nomination. May the Academy do the same.

I'm rooting for Lars & the Real Girl, Knocked Up or the Savages...are you tired of the over-hyped Juno?...And No Country for Old Men or There Will Be Blood for Adapted Screenplay...Too bad Before the Devil Knows You're Dead is not getting any mentions...such a great little film...
