NBC may lose $10 million over new Globes telecast

The financial loss of the scaled-back Golden Globes telecast "could top $10 million," according to the Wall Street Journal. Last year the full ceremony show brought in $27 million in advertising revenue based upon viewership of about 20 million. Without the allure of superstar attendees, the news conference program to air this Sunday instead will probably draw far fewer eyeballs. READ MORE
