Looks like Kris Tapley got to the bottom of that bizzare hubbub that distrupted Julian Schnabel's acceptance of his nomination medallion at DGA last night. I couldn't tell if Schnabel was getting a bit huffy because someone down front was chatting while he had the room's attention or else someone was actually heckling him during his speech. I was in the big ceremony room at the time (as opposed to the press room), but in the back, taking this photo of Julian at the podium.
