Report: Oscars decide songbirds who'll perform 'Enchanted' tunes

February 5, 2008 |  7:31 pm

Assuming that the Oscarfest proceeds in its traditional format Feb. 24, producers have decided who'll perform the threeTrio songs from "Enchanted," according to E! Online columnist Marc Malkin.

Amy Adams will sing "Happy Working Song," Kristin Chenoweth will croon "That's How You Know" and Jon McLaughlin will perform "So Close." READ MORE

I like Kristin Chenoweth. BUT!!! This was Amy Adams movie and I think it is horrible that the best song is not sung by her. If it was her choice to not sing "Thats How You Know" than I can totally accept Kristin (who I worked with) singing it. Remember back to the days of "Beauty and the Beast"??? Jerry Orbach sang "Be Our Guest", Paige O' Hara and Richard White sang "Belle". The actually voices NOT famous people. I just wish that she wasn't forced to sing just one. Kristin will be interesting to watch though. HOPEFULLY.

wait...who is Kristen Chenoweth singing with? In the movie it's Amy Adams and Marlon Saunders.

I'd rather see Snow White bump & grind with Rob Lowe again...yaawwwwnnn!!!

NOOOOO! I was sooo looking forward to Amy singing both songs! Is there some stupid rule about that? The Dreamgirls did it last year.

Adams may have felt uncomfortable doing a big ballad in favor of the more fun "Happy Working Song," like how Renee Zellweger didn't want to sing that song from Chicago so Queen Latifah did. It's a thought.

No! Why can't Amy Adams sing both songs! And why does she have the worse of the two!?

WHAT?!?! How dare they deny Amy Adams the best song in the film. BOOOO!!
