"Entertainment Tonight" film critic Leonard Maltin thinks "Juno" is a wild card that could play out in quirky ways on Oscar night.

How exactly does something play out in "quirky ways". I think quirky is the worst word in the Hollywood lexicon.

I honestly don't think "Juno" will ever win. Not only is it a comedy (or thought of as a comedy) but it's a young movie (that's one of the reasons "Brokeback" didn't win). I think the nomination was a win, if you know what I mean.

If JUNO wins...Oscars are surely, most definitely, utterly irrelevant and will have no business to continue to exist or hand out awards...bad enough Crash won, and Little Miss Sunshine was a Best Pic nominee...goes to show the cluelessness of the Academy...
