Which eppy should 'Entourage' give to Emmy judges?

April 26, 2008 | 11:30 pm

When I asked our forum posters to predict the sample episode of "Entourage" that HBO plans to submit to Emmy judges in the race for best comedy series, they guessed season opener "Welcome to the Jungle." Wrong! It's really "The Day F***ers."

Is that really the best episode choice? Tell us what you think! Vote in our forum's poll — CLICK HERE — and volunteer your own views, either in that thread or via clicking the "Comments" link below.

"THE DAY F***ERS"
When Drama claims that Eric is incapable of having casual sex without emotional attachment, Vince comes to Eric's defense. A bet ensues. Drama and Vince wager $5,000 over who can score by day's end sooner: Eric or Turtle. While Vince and Eric woo two foxy British chicks at a hotel pool, Drama arranges a date for Turtle with a kinky gal who wants her partner dressed up in a big bunny outfit.

"WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE"
A documentary tracks the hell that ensues during the shooting of the drug crime drama "Medellin" on location in Colombia. Eric tries to keep his cool amidst production delays and budget overruns while the crazed director wigs out with jealousy over a village gal.

Director Julian Farino's episode "One Day in the Valley" garnered the 2007 emmy nod. "Welcome to the Jungle" doesn't feature the long shots, or the setting that makes "Entourage" an award winning show.

I would like to see Entourage nominate "Gary's Desk." Director Julian Farino's episode "One Day in the Valley" garnered the 2007 emmy nod. "Welcome to the Jungle" doesn't feature the long shots, or the setting that makes "Entourage" an award winning show.

Welcome to the Jungle was definitely different from the rest of the season. I guess the also close Day F*ckers because it was a break from the Medillin drama. I think they should submit Jungle. Although Day F*ckers was enjoyable, not sure that its Emmy worthy.
