Hey, Ryan Seacrest! We got that Emmy for ya!
Have any of you, my dear readers, received a muffin basket or floral bouquet yet from Ryan Seacrest?
That's the very least he owes us after asking Gold Derby to hornswoggle the Emmys to launch a new category just for hosts of reality TV shows. If you don't remember his request specifically addressed to us, CLICK HERE .
Well, the new award was officially announced today — with a caveat we knew was coming and one that's bound to make Simon Cowell crankier than ever. The award will not apply to judges. It will be bestowed on the ABC gala telecast on Sept. 21.
Ryan hosted the Emmycast last year when it was on Fox. Looks like he'll be back on stage again this year. At least one firm win will finally put to rest the hubbub that "American Idol" is really still the biggest loser of TV's top award. (CLICK HERE to check out more on that flapdoodle!)
I'd love to see Tom Burgeron beat Seacrest, and I don't even watch DWTS

You actually think that Ryan Seacrest will win? My bet is on Jeff Probst for Survivor. Also Tom Berguron has a better chance than Seacrest!
