O, fickle king! Jonathan Rhys Myers switches Emmy eppy
In episode 203 of "The Tudors" — that's the one where King Henry VIII makes Anne Boleyn his queen — there's an assassination
attempt that goes unnoticed by the royals. Well, it sure looks like our assassination attempt against that episode being Jonathan Rhys Myers' Emmy submission got noted. (CLICK HERE.) We're now hearing that episode 203 is dead — Showtime is no longer considering it. Instead, the not-yet-telecast episode No. 209 is being eyeballed as well as the previously announced alternative 210. Both just finished shooting and will air in late May right at the end of the Emmy eligibility period. I know nothing about their plot details.
Apparently, 210 must deal with the beheading of Anne because we just heard that Natalie Dormer has picked it for her Emmy reel. Like Rhys Meyers, Henry Cavill (as Henry's pal Charles Branson) has nixed episode 203, too; he's going with 205. See the full list of "Tudors" Emmy eppys - CLICK HERE.

Emmy contenders must pick one sample episode as an example of their best work to be scrutinized by judging panels that convene in late June if they last in the Top 10 run-off after a popular vote of academy members (everyone votes in the series races; only actors vote on actors).
