Secret Emmy judge No. 1: How he voted for nominations

June 26, 2008 | 10:18 pm

CORRECTION (6/28): Turns out that I misunderstood the email I received from Secret Emmy Judge No. 1. These rankings are not his predix. They're his actual votes that he was sharing with me. Well, at least there's one thing you can divulge from that disclosure. Yes, he's a member of the acting branch.

Did this person even watch John Adams? Stephen Dillane stole every scene whether he had lines or not and he is not included. Shame, shame, shame.

No Mad Men? No Stephen Dillane?
No credibility.

I think Rufus Sewell is an excellent actor, however, Stephen Dillane in John Adams stoled every scene he was in. Anyone who actually saw John Adams from begining to end would know this very fact. This is truly unbelieveable.

Why isn't Stephen Dillane on the list? He stole every scene he was in as Thomas Jefferson.

You forgot Stephen Dillane, didn't you?

How could Stephen Dillane not be considered for an Emmy for his work in John Adams but Rufus Sewell is? SD was brillant as Thomas Jefferson. Sewell was in what two scenes? An outrage.

its time that chandra wilson get her emmy this year............to me she is the most complex in her category

Where's Ginnifer Goodwin from "Big Love"?

Ellen Pompeo has to get an Emmy nod this year. and she does deserve to win.

she was phenomenal in season 4 of Grey's Anatomy. A true lead, she lifted the show and brought it back to the show we loved in seasons 1 and 2.

I thought there were supposed to be predicted nominees with this?

100% agree with Myles - if these were his actualpredictions, I really wouldn't place much stock in this guy. (Though frankly, even if these were his personal choices, not recognising Mad Men or The Wire as one of the ten best shows of the year doesn't gived me much faith in him either.)

Damn! Where's Alyssa Milano? She deserves a nomination!! Cmon men...

To clarify, Tom - was this their predictions on who was going to enter the Top 10, or actually their votes in the various categories? Because not predicting Mad Men for Drama Series, and predicting every single supporting player from Dirty Sexy Money, seems a little bit off the wall to speak unless that was their own personal choices to "hopefully" get nominated.
