Who are the three guys missing on Emmy's top 10 list of best comedy actors?
UPDATE JULY 3: We've learned that Brad Garrett is definitely in. Need just two more and we'll have those soon. Meantime, we've also learned the title of Tony Shalhoub's episode - added below.
So far I have seven of the 10 chaps on the Emmys' list of top 10 best comedy actors. Later today I'll have solved the mystery of the lost boys. Meantime, let's have some fun: Do you want to guess?
Here's who I have confirmed — see below. Also, I happen to know that longtime Emmy fave Kelsey Grammer ("Back to You") is not on the list for best comedy actor.
7 OF EMMY'S TOP 10: BEST LEAD COMEDY ACTOR
Alec Baldwin, "30 Rock" ("Rosemary's Baby")
Steve Carell, "The Office" ("Goodbye, Toby")
Larry David, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" ("The Bat Mitzvah")
David Duchovny, "Californication" ("The Last Waltz")
Lee Pace, "Pushing Daisies" ("Pie-lette")
Tony Shalhoub, "Monk" ("Mr. Monk and the Naked Man")
Charlie Sheen, "Two and a Half Men" ("Is There a Mrs. Waffles?")
IMPOSSIBLE
Kelsey Grammer, "Back to You" ("Pilot")
POSSIBLE
Zach Braff, "Scrubs" ("My Princess")
Jermaine Clement, "Flight of the Conchords" ("Sally Returns")
Kevin Connolly, "Entourage" ("Malibooty")
Johnny Galecki, "The Big Bang Theory" ("The Hamburger Postulate")
Brad Garrett, "'Til Death" ("Swimming with Starks")
Adrian Grenier, "Entourage" ("Adios Amigos")
Jason Lee, "My Name Is Earl" ("Bad Earl")
Bret McKenzie, "Flight of the Conchords" ("Girlfriends")
Jim Parsons, "Big Bang Theory" ("The Pancake Batter Anomaly")
Josh Radnor, "How I Met Your Mother" ("Ten Sessions")

Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory needs to be on the list! Also I wish Jon Cryer was nominated in this category aswell, he is just as much of the lead on Two and a Half Men as Charlie Sheen.

Jim Parsons is wonderful on "Big Bang Theory" and should, at the least be nominated in the top five. The only problem I have with his acting is that sometimes the cadence of his voice is too similar from line to line but I think that improved over the season and there's much more variety in his voice. I like Alec Baldwin, Steve Carrell, Larry David and Tony Shaloub as the other nominees and if they all make it, this would probably end up being one of the strongest categories for actors. I really don't understand Lee Pace. The show is very good but the two leads aren't doing anything particularly interesting or creative. I wouldn't even put him in my top twenty.

I would say Jim Parsons, but it's a rookie show and he's not a name.
I'd be happy with Braff or Radnor.

This is probably a stretch, but what about McBride for Pushing Daisies? I was really surprised to see he did get in the Top 10 for supporting. Maybe he went lead like Moss did for Mad Men?

My vote, from the confirmed list of 7, is either Larry David or Tony Shalhoub. Out of the other possibilities, I would only vote for Brad Garrett.
I'm actually really upset that Kelsey Grammer is definitely not on the list. I, for one, really enjoyed Back To You and thougth it was the best new comedy on the air this season...
... I guess I was the only one.

How come Ray Wise of "Reaper" is being left out of all the comedy races? He's so funny, and really ties the show together.

How can this list NOT include the best comedy actor on tv -- James Roday on Psych.

I really wish Radnor would get the nod for "How I Met Your Mother." Not because he's been great this season, but in that particular episode, "Ten Sessions," he was phenomenal. The fact that Chalke didn't even make the Guest Actress top 10 is sad.

Hey, how about the absolutely delightful Zachary Levi as "Chuck"?

My guess would be Braff, Parsons, and Connolly. If Jamie Pressly's out, I bet Jason Lee is too.

I think Braf, Lee and Parsons are in the list.

I'd guess Braff, Lee, and Connolly, but hope for Jemaine Clement. Any chance that James Roday from "Psych" occupies a slot?
