CORRECT ANSWER: Don Knotts.

Candice Bergen won five Emmys for "Murphy Brown," but lost twice in the lead race for that series, once in supporting for "Boston Legal."

Bill Cosby won three times for "I Spy" and once for producing a self-titled variety special. He lost for "The Bill Cosby Show" twice for producing, once for acting around 1970. He did not enter his name for competition for "The Cosby Show" during the 1980s.

Vivian Vance won only once in the supporting race for "I Love Lucy" and lost three other bids.
