Emmy episode entries: Comedy and drama series races
In the Emmy contests for comedy and drama series, nominees submit six sample episodes to be judged. The half dozen episodes are divided into three pairs, which are distributed randomly to voters who view two from each contender.
In other words, because there are five nominees for outstanding comedy series, voters view 10 episodes on DVDs at home before they ink their ballots and sign an affidavit attesting that they viewed everything required. Ballots and paperwork must be returned by Friday. Winners will be announced on the ABC Emmycast on Sept. 21. Below are the titles of the episodes entered in those categories.
In the acting races, each nominee submits one sample episode. To see lists of who submitted what, check out the rundowns in our forums — CLICK HERE.

Although Michael Emerson's work was top notch for most of the fourth season, I don't see how Henry Ian Cusick cannot get recognized after the culmination of episodes over the past few seasons. Everything he has done so far came together in the Constant, easily the best episode of season 4 (top 5 in the series), and also containing one of the most memorable scenes in Lost history with his phone call. To be overlooked like that seems painful to me, because if you gave that kind of episode to anyone else, I dont think they could have pulled it off like he did.

Why didn't they choose The Shape of Things to Come?
That was a great show in my opinion, All things BEN - tops in my book!
At least he's been nominated, and should win for this show in particular but actually is the clear winner no matter what!

I agree with Crazy Bearded Jack. When ABC places those finales and The Constant (one of the best LOST episodes) there can't be any other competition. Too bad they couldn't put The Shape of Things to Come... although Michael Emmerson did. Dude, if he loses that Emmy then that program is RIGGED!

I know I'm a fan, but when LOST puts forth the three part season finale, they might as well just give them and Michael Emerson the Emmy. That finale was some of the best TV I've ever seen.
