Unbelievable.....Harry has been blacklisted. What a shame!

Ah, it was about time for the annual Harry Shearer diss by the Academy.

Keith David is an excellent narrator, no question. But he did already win an Emmy for Best Voiceover Performance just three years ago (for "Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise And Fall Of Jack Johnson" on PBS).

Harry Shearer is still the only major voice talent on "The Simpsons" to be ignored by Emmy.

Various producers have shared in nine wins for Best Animated Program; Alf Clausen and other musicians have a couple of music wins.

Hank Azaria and Dan Castellaneta each have three Emmys. Julie Kaver, Yeardley Smith and Nancy Cartwright have one apiece. Even recurring players Marcia Wallace, Jackie Mason and Kelsey Grammer have an Emmy for their "Simpsons" work! Oy.

And this is a freaking juried award! They don't have to just give out one Emmy. They could award two if they so desired, but clearly they don't. Ah, well, Harry. We still love ya.
