Accepting his guest-actor prize, Turman fumbled for a sheet of paper, telling the crowd, "I brought an acceptance speech, but I can't find it! I went to night school, so I can't read during the day." Backstage, he told us about his role on "In Treatment": "I play the father of Blair Underwood, a patient of the therapist who died after his sessions. I go to the doctor to find out what made him so vulnerable. "

Holding up his Emmy, he told us: "This is my first Emmy. I've been in the business since 1958."

Robin Williams was NOT robbed...Glynn Turman's performance was fantastic and I'm thrilled to see him be recognized.
