Looks like ABC has found a nice way to placate Jimmy Kimmel for not being chosen to host the Emmys telecast by the alphabet web this Sunday night.

Often the hosting channel uses the awardscast as a PR platform for its late-night host (Conan O'Brien emceed two years ago when NBC staged the TV honors), but ABC decided to hand over the show to the five nominees for best reality TV show host: Tom Bergeron ("Dancing With The Stars"), Heidi Klum ("Project Runway"), Howie Mandel ("Deal Or No Deal"), Jeff Probst ("Survivor") and Ryan Seacrest ("American Idol").

Broadcasting and Cable reports, "The network will air 'Jimmy Kimmel's Big Night of Stars' Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. on both coasts, leading into the Primetime Emmys." READ MORE
