Tim Conway backstage at the Emmys: 'I'm so happy I have these now!'

September 14, 2008 | 11:20 am

That's what Tim Conway told us backstage in the press room after picking up his sixth career Emmy at the creative arts ceremony on Sunday (best guest comedy actor, "30 Rock"). Will he return to the show in the future? "I should," he says. "I did a wonderful job."

By the way, his opening remark — "It was only a flesh wound" — refers to how he seemed to be stabbed by a wing of the Emmy statuette after winning. Read more about that HERE.
