Gold Derby nuggets: Oscar hopes brighten for 'Dark Knight' and 'Wall-E' | Scorsese wins kudos for Hitchcock spoof

• "It's one thing to preserve a film that's been made," says Martin Scorsese in his mini-thriller created as a promotion for Freixenet champagne. "It's another thing to preserve a film that's not been made!"
That's what he attempts to do in the resulting footage of "The Key to Reserva," Scorsese's wink to Alfred Hitchcock's "Torn Curtain," that won two top prizes from the One Show Entertainment Awards, which salute
outstanding advertising and PR work: best feature-length film that incorporates a brand as integral component and online videos, movies, webisodes or podcasts that clearly identify a brand and furthers its position. "Reserva" marked Scorsese's bold move to create a project just for Internet users and it's an ambitious production for the small screen that's quite cheeky. The set-up (or send-up?): The script of "Reserva" is supposedly just three-and-a-half pages of a partial script intended for Hitch to direct, but Scorsese tackles it anyway, filling in the rest.
