Nicollete Sheridan should be nominated this year after her character was killed off. I would also nominate Tina Fey, America Ferrera, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Amy Poehler...in my opinion. .

Again, none of them is on the level of Billie Piper in "Secret Diary of a Call Girl", but from what I've seen I'd nominate: Tichina Arnold, Toni Collette, Anna Friel, JOANNA GARCIA for "Privileged", Eva Longoria Parker and Mary Louise Parker. Sadly, it's going to be same old, same old. Meaning: Christina Applegate, America Ferrera (ugh!), Tina Fey (ugh!), Julia Louis Dreyfuss, Mary Louise Parker and Toni Collette (who's going to be exception). If not Collette then Huffman (ugh!) because Emmys love their Mrs. H. Macy.
