• The Envelope's forums moderator Robert "Rob L" Licuria has updated the expert Emmy predictions at his own site. Nice surprises: Rob believes that "The Big Bang Theory" will be nominated for best comedy series and Jill Scott ("No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency") and January Jones ("Mad Men") will nab bids for best drama actress. Bad surprises: three-time nominee "House M.D." won't return to the race for best drama series, but canceled "Boston Legal" will (it is a longtime Emmy fave). AWARDS HEAVEN
• The One Club showcases an expanded "Creative Week" in New York City May 4-8 featuring conferences, special events, think-tank sessions and parties in addition to its presentation of three sets of awards honoring the year's best achievements in advertising, integrated branding and design. The biggest kudos ceremony will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on May 6 when the One Show awards are presented for excellence in print, television, radio, outdoor, innovative marketing, integrated branding and branded content. • The Tony Award nominations will be announced at 8:30 a.m. EDT on May 5 by past champs Cynthia Nixon ("Rabbit Hole") and Lin-Manuel Miranda ("In the Heights") at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. Winners will be unveiled on June 7 (CBS, 8 p.m. EDT/PDT). PLAYBILL
• The New York theatrical scene's Drama League Awards will bestow honorary laurels upon Elton John, Angela Lansbury and Arthur Laurents at its ceremony on May 9, hosted by Jeremy Irons and Cynthia Nixon. DRAMA LEAGUE AWARDS
• Reminder: the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for drama will be announced Monday, April 20. As we reported earlier this week, the short list of contenders has already leaked out, which includes "Ruined," "Becky Shaw" and "In the Heights." GOLD DERBY
• Wondering who'll emcee the Daytime Emmys on Aug. 30? Associated Television International exec Jim Romanovich says, "We are close to naming a host and chances are it will be one person. We have a short list of about 6 people." The ceremony will include a tribute to "Guiding Light," which was just dropped by CBS. WE LOVE SOAPS
• After the release last week of his new "We Made You" video, Eminem will continue his comeback by performing live on the MTV Movie Awards on May 31. Rolling Stone reports, "MTV didn’t reveal what song Slim Shady will rap at the awards show, but it's safe to assume it will be a new track — and considering host Andy Samberg's fondness for hip-hop, it's possible the two could pair up for some R-rated hilarity too." • The Grammys are running another online charity auction at Ebay, offering trip packages to Tokyo, Puerto Vallarta and Monaco plus VIP attendance at next year's award show. GRAMMY AUCTION

• Three-time Oscar loser Michelle Pfeiffer ("Dangerous Liaisons," "The Fabulous Baker Boys," "Love Field") is being widely touted as a front-runner to catch up with overdue academy gold next year for starring in "Cheri," a screen adaptation of Colette's romance by Stephen Frears, who was nommed for best director twice ("The Queen," "The Grifters"). Tom, there is no such show as "Congo: Becky Shaw". It's just "Becky Shaw", and has nothing to do with the Congo. "Ruined" is set in the Congo.
