Emmys update: Races for best comedy and drama series

Here's what I spy on the derby track during this Emmy home stretch. Eligibility period ends May 31. Academy members can begin voting for nominees on June 5 using ballots on line. Ballots must be returned to Ernst & Young by June 26. Nominations will be announced on July 16. Winners to be unveiled on September 12 (creative arts awards) and 20 (CBS telecast).
