Tony Awards make final decree on category placements

The Tony Awards Administration Committee made the following rulings about category placement and eligibility. This is the last of the panel's pronouncements before nominations are announced next Tuesday.

Tonys eligibility

"The Norman Conquests" will be eligible as a single play in the category for best revival of a play. Bruce Coughlin, Stephen Oremus and Alex Lacamoire will be considered jointly eligible in the category of best orchestrations for "9 to 5."
