Emmy for Perez Hilton?
"If you're an Emmy voter, be sure to pick Perez as one of your finalists!" cries celeb blogger Perez Hilton. "Can you imagine if we actually made it to the final five? OMG! OMG! OMG!"
The notorious cyber-bad boy is in the Emmy running for "Bad Girls Club Reunion: Unresolved Issues." Oxygen network put his name on the ballot — see it here. On July 16, he might be a nominee in the category of best host of a TV reality show.
Curiously, Perez might've been nominated for an Emmy if he had submitted video from his more popular internet gossip column, which is eligible. Technically, internet video can compete against top TV shows, although none has managed to break through yet. Nominations are determined by a popular ballot that usually rewards most-viewed fare. Normally, TV has the most eyeballs, but Perez's gossip column gets more viewers than "The Bad Girls Club" TV special probably got on the Oxygen network!

Dear God No! The Emmys credibility is waning, that would completely kill it. He's turned copying and pasting from other websites into notoriety. Ick!
