Tonys prediction slugfest: Will 'God of Carnage' win best play?
Envelope contributor Paul Sheehan is the only Tonys pundit on the planet who thinks "God of Carnage" isn't a shoo-in to win best play this Sunday at Radio City Music Hall. Is he daffy? Probably, but let's hear him make his case for "Dividing the Estate" anyway. See a complete breakdown of pundits' predix here.

Tom,
about Jack and Katharine Hepburn. First of all, I don't think Jack will win another one, but let's take Meryl. I think she'll win two more and will tie Hepburn. Now she's at the point where everyone feels she should win. And she's exactly at the age, at which Hepburn won her SECOND. And she's more productive than Hepburn was.
And, you'll always say: Meryl has 4 (hypothetically) and Hepburn had 4. But to you Hepburn will have more, because she has all 4 in lead and Meryl will have 3 in lead (hypothetically again) and 1 in supporting. BUT: see it from a different angle! Meryl will have 4 and Katharine will always have 3 on her own and 1 in a tie! So I think winning supporting on your own is more EVEN TO SOMEBODY OBSESSED WITH LEADS than winning something in a tie! Don't you think?
