Emmy quiz: What comedy series held the record for most nominations?

"30 Rock" just set a record for most Emmy nominations scored by a comedy series (22), breaking the record it set last year, when it copped 17. What laffer held the record previously with 16 bids? To see the answer, click on the "continue reading" link underneath the photos.

ANSWER: "The Larry Sanders Show" set a record (16) in 1997, breaking the previous record held by "The Cosby Show" and "The Golden Girls," which both reaped 15 nominations in 1986.
