It was nice to see some new winners this time.
Yeah, "Cash Cab"!!
"The View" women didn't show because they probably thought they wouldn't win, which they shouldn't have anyway.

I'm not at all surprised that "General Hospital" won for Best Writing. I've been watching them for about a year now and their stories really are better than those of "All My Children" and "One Life To Live. The additions of Lisa LoCicero ("Olivia Falconeri") and Dominic Zamprogna ("Dominic Pirelli/Dante Falconeri") give "General Hospital" an enjoyable down-to-earthness that benefits the show. LoCicero can be a future Emmy winner for them if if they do right by her. And bouquets to Julie Marie Berman ("Lulu Spencer "). Congrats, girl you go! :D

think the view won for their election hotseat and the attention they got for that - relevant water cooler talk provoking...and they got a lot of press from all over for the tough time they gave McCain and his wife... so I feel their win is legit and deserved ( even if EH is among the group, you can't have everything!)

I must be reading the wrong list. This says The View won for Best Talk Show Host!! WHAT! Are you kidding? Who did Babs sleep with to get this one?
This is a first & I can't believe The View won. This is HUGE! It should read on the front page of the NY Post.
WOW!!!!!
