Did 'Twilight' set a record at Teen Choice Awards?
Yes. The 11 victories by "Twilight" at the Teen Choice Awards were a huge leap over the two films that held the previous record: "The Notebook" (eight wins in 2004) and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" (seven in 2006, one more in 2007).
Among the wins by "Twilight" at the Teen Choice Awards: best drama movie, actor (Robert Pattinson), actress (Kristen Stewart), villain (Cam Gigandet), liplock (Pattinson and Stewart), rumble (Pattinson and Gigandet). See a full list here.
"All the wins were incredible," Ashley Greene (winner, choice female fresh face) told MTV immediately after the sweep. "It's such a bizarre thing to be invited — and then to clean up the way we did? Our fans are indescribable — it's amazing, who does that? Who gets to be a part of that? It's a blast, and it was a really cool show."
