Who said this in his or her acceptance speech? "Gee, this isn't like I imagined it would be in the bathtub?"

Which of these four best-picture champs also had its director nominated?

ANSWER: "Cabaret" (1972) won eight Oscars, including best director (Bob Fosse) and actress (Liza Minnelli), but lost best picture to "The Godfather." "A Place in the Sun" (1951) reaped six and lost best pic to "An American in Paris." "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woof?" (1966) claimed five and lost the top race to "A Man for All Seasons." "Star Wars" (1977) won six and lost best pic to "Annie Hall." "Saving Private Ryan" (1998) nailed five and lost the big battle to "Shakespeare in Love."

Personally, I agree with the best-pic victories of "The Godfather" and "Shakespeare in Love." I think "A Place in the Sun," "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and "Star Wars" waz robbed! What do you think? Click the "Comments" link below.
