All About Eve and Titanic are the two most nominated films with 14 each!!!

My favorite movie of all time is All About Eve.. so naturally i know this bit of trivia... next favorite is From Here To Eternity!! Swoon! Next - L.A. Confidential... Then Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.. then rounding out the Top 5 is Central Station! :D

"Titanic" had 13 nominations. "All About Eve" had 14 nominations. How could this be overlooked?????

I thought it was "All About Eve"--which is kinda funny since CW now claims "Sunset Boulevard" was better (kinda like "Pulp Fiction" or "The Shawshank Redemption" vs. "Forrest Gump" in '94). I knew "Star Wars" had the least of these; it was the only one listed that did NOT win Best Picture (it was nommed but lost to "Annie Hall"). I knew GWTW had a boatload of noms, but I also knew it didn't set the current record. And I just knew it wasn't "From Here To Eternity"; it could only be Bette Davis and her seatbelts.
